What is pick & place?

The pick & place process involves automatically picking up and placing workpieces in a predefined position. A Cobot equipped with a suitable gripper grabs the workpiece, transports it and places it in a predefined position.

The technology is used in:

Automated pick & place for planks

Our plank pick & place station uses a collaborative robot that automatically layers planks with an impressive output of 200 planks per minute. Thanks to the automatic changeover of the machine, the system can handle boards of different sizes without the need for manual operator intervention.
